okay my husband and I got married in 06 but we want to have our real wedding this year in August before he deploys again. When my husband & I first went to talk to my hometown priest about marrying us back in 06 he told us that we had to give him a 6 month warning. well august is only 4 months away and he won’t do it My question is, did anyone get married by a catholic priest without the 6 month warning? (I haven’t had a chance to talk to a priest yet cause I just moved to a new town and havent located on yet.)
